Home

This my home observatory in Eynsham Oxfordshire and I have converted an out building to have a roll off roof.

This observatory is mainly for my relaxation and I use it for astrophotography – concentrating mainly on the planets and the Moon. There are pages on this site with lots of images I have taken – see the menu above and buttons at bottom of the page. There is also an Observing Blog which I post my latest images to when the sky is clear.

My telescope mount is a PEM (Details here www.astromount.co.uk/pem). This design is a Modified English Mount, and is a collaboration between AWR Technology and Astromount. It is very easily holding a C9.25sct and a C6sct, about 35kgs with the other lenses, but can carry 3 times this weight plus counterweights.

It is available to view – for serious enquiries about the PEM please contact Alan at AWR or myself at Astromount.
